The purpose of this award is to recognize a District’s outstanding and innovative conservation and agricultural initiatives and activities that have proven successful in reaching out to a variety of audiences, involving new partnerships, and spreading the conservation message. District programs that are honored will serve as models of excellence for other Conservation Districts.

CACD DISTRICT OF THE YEAR

This Conservationist reaches out to a variety of audiences, engages new partnerships, and spreads the conservation message. The Conservationist that is honored will serve as models of excellence for other Conservationists. Submission by Conservation District to Watershed Association for voting, then to CACD.
