CACD’s 2015 Annual Meeting is only six weeks away! As most of you know, we hold a statewide meeting in November of each year as an educational and networking event for our Conservation Districts, their landowners, and our partners in natural resource conservation. Our 2015 theme is “Partnerships through Partnerships – Strategies for Success”, and the conference will be held over on the western slope this year, at the beautiful Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort.
Of course we will be highlighting our statewide Conservationists of the Year, in the categories of Rancher, Farmer, Small Acreage, Education Program, among several others. Additionally, we hold a Live Auction fund raiser, which helps support our youth programs of Camp Rocky, along with our state and national legislative endeavors.
CACD’s encourages involvement and sponsorships for this annual event. We offer various levels of contribution support, most of which include exhibitor space at our conference. If anyone is interested in this marketing opportunity, they can either contact me personally or visit our website, under the 2015 Annual Meeting tab.
Finally, CACD values its partners in conservation! All year long, we work very closely with the Conservation Districts, the CO State Conservation Board, and the Natural Resources Conservation Service, among others statewide. CACD is also an active member of the CO Ag Council and the CO Ag Water Alliance and prioritizes those relationships also.
If I can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time!
